Marc Dubin first visited Greece in 1978 and has lived there, in a village house on Samos island, for part of every year since 1989. He has been writing about (and photographing) Greece since 1981, in the course of writing or co-authoring numerous guidebooks to the country for Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, Insight Guides and Berlitz Guides. From 2010 to 2017 he also contributed Greek destination guides and hotel reviews to The Daily Telegraph.
