Looking for inspiration?

Choosing a food-inspired travel experience is difficult. The menu almost seems infinite. In countries like Italy and France, there really isn't a national cuisine: it changes dramatically from region to region.

We've also gathered together 12 foodie trips that will let you focus on the matter at hand – the plate of amazing food in front of you.

Maybe inspiration will come at the markets. Produce markets are an adventure in themselves and Stefan Gates lists the world's 8 oddest ones and what you should buy there.
