These images were captured by landscape photographer Theo Bosboom as part of his portfolio titled Iceland is hot! The photographs aim to highlight the transition of the island from being a nature lover's destination to a country that attracts mass tourism.

The series was captured on a trip dedicated to photographing tourist-ridden landscapes in the south of Iceland. Theo reflects on his own role as a photo tour leader in Iceland, commenting: "The recent developments have made me wonder if I should be more careful with sharing locations and thereby promoting others to come to the same place."
