The trip will be particularly popular with wine lovers, who will discover Hungary’s historic wine industry, which is thought to predate even the Roman Empire.

One highlight of the tour includes a visit to the Tokaj region, nestled in the foothills of Zemplen Mountains, where they will have an exclusive wine tasting experience and in a hidden labyrinth of wine cellars.

Guests will also be able to enjoy a relaxing walking tour in the historic town of Sopron with its 13th century Fire Tower, followed by a trip to the World Heritage Site of Holloko: a traditional Hungarian ‘Paloc’ village of white-washed houses.

Later in the itinerary, passengers will be able explore the city of Eger, known for its thermal spas, castles and baroque buildings.

And of course, while travelling from place to place, passengers can enjoy the extraordinary colours and landscape of Hungary during the autumn season, arguable its most beautiful time of year.
