These photos and film stills are taken from OUTset, the inaugural UK-wide adventure sports film festival presented by Visit California, which charts the birth of action and outdoor adventure sports culture in California and the pioneering spirit that made them possible.

The festival is running from March 13-29, with screenings across the UK, showcasing three iconic films that celebrate the revolutionary California spirit: Dogtown and Z Boys, Klunkerz and Valley Uprising.
