Mountains first, jungles are my second love, closely followed by deserts, with oceans a distant last

What was your first great travel experience?
Safari in Kenya over 20 yrs ago, childhood dreams of seeing lions in the wild finally came true

What has been your favourite journey?
Travelling around Albania solo in 1996, using Kombis/Rail and occasional taxi

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
Ecuador/Galapagos, Tanzania, Snowdonia Mountains, Sierra de Gredos Spain, Paris

Colonia, Uruguay

Which three items do you always pack?
Used to be Swiss Army knife before airport security banned them (I travel light!) now it's Binoculars, Camera, Umbrella
