One week

What was the single highlight of your trip?

The feel of isolation you get in the same moment you leave Reykjavik. It doesn't have to be miles from the city - you can experience it on Videy island or Mt. Esja - both being minutes from the capital.

Any lowlights/cautionary tales?

Rain coat will ALWAYS come in handy.

Any absolutely MUST see sights/activities?

Geysir, absolutely Geysir. It is a cliche, it is a top tourist attraction, but it absolutely blows up your mind.

Any absolutely DON'T see sights/activities?

Whale watching in Reykjavik. Waste of money. For such activity go north to Husavik.

If you could give one piece of advice, what would it be?

Enjoy the good weather while you can.

Any other comments?

If you only can, explore island's interior - unforgettable landscape and atmosphere.
