The world according to seddon86

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?
Jungle

What was your first great travel experience?
My gap year before uni - China Aug 04- Aug 05, I taught English in a middle school in rural China (Gansu Province) for a year

What has been your favourite journey?
Summer 06: Rurrenabaque: Trekking through the Bolivian Jungle hunting Anacondas and piranha fishing OR San Pedro de Atacama (Chile) to Uyuni (Bolivia) - 3 day jeep trek across the desert and salt flats! Amazing!

What are your Top 5 places worldwide?
That I've been too? Top 5? Hmm - Chile, Bolivia, Uganda, China, Argentina (in no particular order)

Recommend a special place to stay
NRE Backpackers in Jinja, Uganda! They are so friendly, there is such a party atmosphere up at their campsite, and lots of adventure things to do like White Water Rafting on the Nile.

Which three items do you always pack?
Camera, tampons (sometimes hard to find in remote areas), first aid kit (inc insect repellent)

Which passport stamp are you proudest of?
Uganda and Rwanda

Which passport stamp would you most like to have?
Brazil

Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?
My GHDs!! Yes sometimes I take them with me but very rarely can I use them due to lack of electricity or plugs in the areas I stay in!! However if I do get to use them in an occasional hostel, it's a big treat, and I usually have other women begging to borrow them ;)
