it is beautiful, I completely agree.  however, as I said in my response to your thread (that I hope posted last evening), wind turbines are both beauiful and necessary.  it may be that your government is more sensible than ours but a piece of info for you - of the 14 new nuclear power stations that are planned in this country, all 14 are planned to  be built on flood plains.  clearly, we learned nothing from japan!

    Hey Fin,

thanks for your lovely comment on my trip to Cumbria - when you get the chance it would be a perfect stop for you.  the hills and fells are magnificent and right up your metaphorical street.

indeed, mr wordsworth did witter about daffodils and there were squillions of them.  loads of showdrops too and they always make me feel spring is on its way.  not sure what the elements may have in store for us before it gets here though.

look after you and stay warm,

    px

ps - i'm up for a rugby tackle but only from you!

    xx

Fintown! Is this any better? Thank you so much for all your lovely helpful comments. I'm sorry I read them all in the wrong order and looked like I was ignoring your advice - I wasn't trying to be difficult, I'm just a bit useless.

I do tend to dip in and out of the site and then get lost easily. I need an 'oi, look over here virtual pigeon hole/notice board'  type thing I think.
