    and without, also, that hideous smell that the rape flowers give off when they need harvesting!  always makes me sneeze on the bike!  not a good habit to get into for obvious, unpleasant reasons.  



    a lovely image, nice clouds brewing though for a mo, i thought "bampton"?  he's been in devon and not called?  touche...!

    ...the wildflowers have been extraordinarily beautiful this year and your words are sheer poetry Jon.



    Thanks for the kind words about my "walks" . The Ljubljana one was accompanied by a local which made it very interesting, though somewhat difficult to get all the shots I wanted :)

    As for hawfinches - I may have seen one or two, but more blackbirds, blue-tits, swifts and robins - sadly no kingfisher yet either ;-(
