About me: I'm a 30 something English Language teacher, currently in Greece. I've travelled to, lived and taught in various places around the globe. All have helped shaped who I am today :0)
Am starting to write about my adventures abroad, would love to eventually get my work published! We live in hope but I won't give up my day job just yet :0)

Mountain/Desert/Ocean/Jungle... which one are you?Ocean
What was your first great travel experience?I'd been on many trips before, but the greatest was in 2005, travelling across the Atlantic on board a container ship with Russian crew, helping them with their English
What has been your favourite journey?See above - the endless starry nights in the Atlantic, dolphins playing alongside the ship and the peace of being at sea
What are your Top 5 places worldwide?Sri Lanka
Greek Islands (especially Skopelos)
Spitsbergen (near the North Pole)
Recommend a special place to stayTake a container ship trip and experience life on board with the crew. Eat with them, play cards with them and become part of their every day life.
Which three items do you always pack?Digital camera, ipod (sorry to be so materialistic!) and toilet roll (you never know!)
Which passport stamp are you proudest of?My one from Churchill, Manitoba, Canada - polar bear capital of the world
Which passport stamp would you most like to have?Um, let me think...
Where or what is your guilty travel pleasure?Borneo, Malaysia - staying in a 5 star resort when I was airline staff and could get discounts
Window or aisle?Initially window, but when I became a seasoned traveller, I have to now say aisle as there's more room to spread out.
But I prefer travelling by ship - it's more environmentally friendly.
