Resting in the magnificent Great Rift Valley and presided over by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, Kenya is hauntingly beautiful country full of natural landscapes of forested hills, patchwork farms, wooded savanna and vast forests brimming with an extraordinary abundance of wildlife. The nation’s diverse range of traditional African cultures is influenced by over 70 unique ethnic groups from the Maasai, Samburu, Kikuyu, and Turkana tribes to the Arabs and Indians that settled on the coast.
The exquisite tropical coastline is fringed with breathtaking golden sand beaches and gorgeous coral gardens provide excellent snorkelling and diving opportunities. It's easy to see why so many visitors flock here from around the world to experience a truly unique African adventure.
This 12 night safari trip includes a visit to world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve which is a land of breathtaking vistas, abundant wildlife and endless plains. Here you will stay in luxury tented accommodation in true safari style and be amazed by the sounds and smells of the bush. The trip ends with a chance to relax and enjoy the Indian Ocean setting of Diani Beach which stretches along the coast like a ribbon of brilliant white. The backdrop of forests echoing with the cries of wildlife is truly idyllic.

Day 2-4 - Lewa Conservancy
Spanning over thousands of hectares of vast open savannah grasslands in northern Kenya, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is home to the world’s largest population of Grevy’s zebra. This UNESCO World Heritage Site serves as an important sanctuary for a large selection of wildlife including the endangered black rhino as well as the white rhino. Lewa offers visitors the opportunity to have close encounters with these prehistoric creatures against an unspoilt backdrop, making it one Kenya’s top game-viewing destinations. Boasting one of the highest wildlife densities in Kenya, the park is also inhabited by elephants, lions, buffalo, wild dogs, giraffes, cheetahs, and over 400 bird species.
Sirikoi is a spectacular game lodge situated on its own private estate in the centre of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. Sirikoi is surrounded by an acacia grove and overlooks a natural waterhole fed by a spring. Evening sundowners with incredible views of distant mountains, are an absolute highlight, preceding exquisite meals served under the stars or next to the roaring fire. The lodge features 9 luxury tents with sitting area leading onto the outside deck, a large double bed or two single beds with a wardrobe behind the bed, a fireplace which is lit each evening, and an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath and rain shower overlooking more beautiful views. Day 5 - Masai Mara Reserve
The Masai Mara Reserve is a photographer’s and naturalist’s paradise, with abundant elephant, buffalo, giraffe, lion and cheetah alongside the migratory wildebeest and zebra. Leopards are frequently encountered, endangered black rhino hide in the dense thickets and large rafts of hippo and enormous crocodiles are found in the Mara River. The park is also home to over 450 bird species.
Evoking an era of luxury and quality the Cottars 1920’s Camp retains the original spirit and essence of the safari, reminiscent of a golden era. Situated in such a large area, guests are almost guaranteed exclusivity on game drives in a region of prolific wildlife.

Day 8 - Diani Beach
Famous for its gorgeous palm trees and its powder white sand lapped by glistening azure waters, Diani Beach is a popular resort area resting on Kenya’s magnificent Indian Ocean shoreline. The area’s wonderfully warm waters and exquisite coral reefs provide an ideal environment for an array of exhilarating water-based activities including snorkelling, scuba diving and boat safaris where you can witness the richly diverse marine life for which the southern coast of Kenya is known. You're likely to see turtles, mantas, barracuda and, if you are lucky, even the elusive and exceptionally large whale shark.
