Day 3 - Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli, Amboseli National Park

Tortilis Camp is named after the Tortilis Acacia (the Umbrella Thorn Tree), a charming rustic tented camp built into the side of a hill, facing the foothills of Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. As you walk into camp, your first view across the tree-studded plains towards the snow-capped mountain stops you in your tracks. The camp nestles in abundant trees and shrubs, bustling with bird life.

Day 4 - Mara Nyika Camp, Mara Naboisho Conservancy

This intimate camp offers just five tents and one 2-bedroom family suite set in a valley, straddling a small stream.  The light-coloured canvas tents were designed to sit under the canopy of umbrella thorn trees while still offering guests views out over the bush. This is a true Africa experience!

On other days guests can go out all day, deep into the Reserve or Conservancy with a packed breakfast and lunch. Night drives are particularly prolific in the Naboisho Conservancy, and while they take patience, sightings commonly include lesser known nocturnal mammals and even lion and hyena hunts.
