Namibia Wildlife & Wilderness

From: £Contact us

Led throughout by an expert local guide, self-drive in convoy to explore the beautiful country of Namibia and experience the country’s fascinating variety of wildlife and stunning landscapes.

The stunning landscapes, wonderful lodges, resplendent night skies and remarkable desert-adapted wildlife were more than enough reasons to visit the amazing country of Namibia. However, in a post-Covid world, the appeal of this sparsely populated country has become even greater.

Officially, Namibia is one of the least densely populated countries in the world meaning that space and social distancing are no problem at all. Furthermore, the country is teeming with outdoor excursions ranging from tracking desert-adapted elephants and black rhino to experiencing the gigantic Cape fur seal colony at Cape Cross. Arguably, the best way to explore and experience Namibia is by self-drive in your own all-terrain vehicle, yet we know that this can be quite a daunting prospect if it's something that you've never done before.

So, we have created this unique small group tour which allows you to experience the joy of self-driving this beautiful country whilst being guided throughout by an expert local guide who will head the group in a lead vehicle. Not only will your guide locate wildlife and show us points of interest, but they will also be on hand to talk us through driving the vehicles on Namibia's dirt roads by communicating through on-board radios in each of the separate vehicles. The guide will be able to advise which gear to be in, the best route around any potential obstacle and what wildlife is up ahead.

If you're looking for somewhere to explore and encounter fantastic wildlife alongside awe-inspiring landscapes whilst being away from everyone else, then Namibia is certainly the place for you and take the hassle out of self-driving by joining this socially distanced and fully-guided group that visit the country at the perfect time of year.
