This suggested itinerary spends time in the long-ignored northeast area of Argentina, exploring a variety of ecosystems, with opportunities to see a vast array of mammals and colourful birdlife.
After spending a day in Argentina's capital, Buenos Aires, travel to the beautiful open spaces of the vast Iberá wetland where you can explore the wetlands and savannah by boat and on foot (and on horseback should you wish). Visit the thundering waters of Iguazu Falls – as spectacular a natural attraction as you could wish for – before continuing to the dense, pristine rainforest of Yacutinga, where guided nature walks and boat trips will show you some of the area's resident wildlife which includes the rarely seen jaguar and ocelot.
