If you’re keen to get under the skin of the country you’re visiting and gain an insight into local life, our Insider’s itineraries are for you. An Insider's Borneo explores the caves of the Niah National Park, where signs of ancient life have been discovered by archaeologists; treks into the remote Kelabit Highlands where traditional life continues much as it has for generations; and climbs to the summit of Borneo’s highest peak – Mount Kinabalu.

The trip concludes with time to relax and reflect on your experiences on Gaya Island, a beautiful island nature reserve just off the Kota Kinabalu coast. Over the course of 12 days you’ll observe stunning natural scenery and experience genuine warmth and hospitality.
