Altai Tavan Bogd is the highest mountain in Mongolia and has massif-type. Tavan Bogd Mountain is located in Bayan-Ulgii Province and its Khuiten Peak is the highest point of Mongolia at 4374 meters above sea level. Besides Khuiten peak, the mountain includes another four peaks as Nairamdal peak, Malchin peak, Burged peak and Ulgii peak. The Nairamdal Peak forms the border tripoint between Mongolia, Russia, and China.
