Land in Nairobi and travel with our guide to Amboseli via Emali. Although relatively small, game spotting is prolific in this park due to the low scrubby vegetation and open grassy plains. See Amboseli’s famed elephants together with hippo, buffalo and hundreds of plain game that congregate in the swampy areas near the water’s edge. Move on to Tsavo West, a region of spectacular scenery and home to the biggest elephant population in Kenya. View hippos and crocodiles at Mzima Springs as well as a diverse variety of birdlife. The reserve’s palm fringed rivers and emerald green hills are teeming with wildlife that can be viewed all year around. Taita Hills, with tropical rain forests at its highest point, is a haven for rare and unique flora and fauna. Over 20 species of African violets occur exclusively in this area. End your adventure on the south coast of Mombasa, lapping up the sunshine and warm, tropical waters filled with coral and marine splendour.
