Ecuador is an unparalleled hotspot in 'the global epicentre of biodiversity.' With over 1670 bird species (the fourth most extensive bird list in the world), Ecuador is a true birdwatcher's paradise. This 6-day nature and birding tour will take you through an amazing variety of habitats, from the Cloudforest to the unique Andean Paramos, at a whopping elevation of 13,000 ft. Our main focus of course will be finding and observing the greatest number of bird species endemic to the northwest, including a dazzling array of flycatchers, tanagers, hummingbirds, antpitta and antbirds, not to mention a luxuriant tropical flora and fauna.
