Oman, culmination of the Arabian Peninsula, is home to Jebel Shams, standing at 3,300 m above sea level. You will discover the highest peak in Oman, where temperatures are often 20 degrees cooler than the surrounding landscape. Oman is also home to a coastline of beautiful windswept beaches. In some areas, the rugged mountains plunge directly into the sea. We will take you away to the edge of the coast; old fishing villages dot the landscape. Some are little more than ruins, while others continue to provide shelter for today’s inhabitants as they maintain a way of life that has changed little over the centuries.
