Exploring the highland and lowland rainforests of Borneo and visiting four very different reserves, by day and night, this tour offers an outstanding range of the island’s rare and endemic wildlife.
The Malaysian state of Sabah, in northeast Borneo, holds many of the island's most unspoiled rainforest reserves, both lowland and highland. It is home to much of Borneo's remarkable wildlife, including Sunda clouded leopard, Whitehead's broadbill, helmeted hornbill and Bornean orangutan. We visit Mount Kinabalu, Deramakot Forest Reserve, the Kinabatangan River and Tabin Wildlife Reserve, by day and night, to give as full a taste as possible of the wildlife of this extraordinary island.
