Water levels in Botswana’s Okavango Delta are at their highest level for some 20 years, and this itinerary offers excellent opportunities to view wildlife in areas that were previously unreachable.
A seemingly cyclic natural phenomenon, once dried waterways in the Savuti Channel and the Boteti River are now miraculously flowing again, after over ten years without water. Waterways that have lain dry for a long period are now providing access to new areas. And – as ever – wildlife is attracted to the life-giving water and can be seen with ease by both man and predators.
