Carcass Island is famous for its colonies of Magellanic and gentoo penguins, and here you should also be able to see striated caracaras and elephant seals, before continuing to Saunders Island. This island is home to a staggering amount of wildlife which includes a colony of 11,000 breeding pairs of black-browed albatross, as well as Magellanic, gentoo, rockhopper, macaroni and king penguins. After observing sealions and penguins on Pebble Island and rockhopper penguins on Bleaker, the trip culimates in a couple of days on Sea Lion Island, where you can easily explore on foot and photograph some of the resident wildlife.
