Visiting three of northern Botswana’s prime wildlife areas, this small group mobile camping safari offers the chance to see a fabulous variety of wildlife, including lion, leopard, wild dog and elephant.
Accompanied by a fabulous team who do all the hard work for you, this budget-friendly safari stays in comfortable walk-in tents with a double bed and private bathroom facilities. Such a set up - along with a small group size and a maximum of six people per vehicle - allows a flexible approach to wildlife viewing, thus enjoying longer in the field and increasing your chances of experiencing that once-in-a-lifetime wildlife sighting.
The itinerary starts on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta at Moremi Game Reserve, a stunningly beautiful area of floodplains and mopane woodland, attracting a wealth of wildlife. Following the luxuriant Khwai River, the Khwai Concession offers a mosaic of habitats, from seasonal lagoons and acacia studded plains to fabulous leadwood forests. Your final stop are the vast grasslands and rocky outcrops of Chobe National Park, the epitome of African wilderness and widely regarded as one of Africa's premier destinations for watching predators.
This tour will be led by Motswana guide Disho, with expert leader Nick Acheson joining our August 2019 departure.
