This is an amazing 15-day tour that will take you to Eagle’s Nest along the Indo – Bhutan border, considered to be one of the top birding destinations in the world. The biggest advantage of Eagles nest is a jeep track which cuts right through its heart from the pass at 2800m down to the flood plains of Assam at 100m – its easy access, excellent forest and wide altitudinal range is a unique combination for birdwatching. New species of birds from this area are being added to its already long list every year. You will also visit the World famous Kaziranga National Park, Nameri National Park and Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary, the only place in India to find apes. During the tour, the topography encountered is amazing, as the elevation rises from just above sea level along the Brahmaputra plains to over 7000 meters in 150 km. A lot of birdwatching is also done during the journey from one destination to the other from the roadside. The Tour comes across as an amazing opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful places of Northeast India and a chance to explore its rich collection of exotic avian varieties.
