Tell people that you're going to Haiti and they'll either never have heard of it, or think that you're mad. But for those who know a little about this fascinating Caribbean gem, Haiti offers culture and history unparalleled elsewhere in the region, and is blissfully devoid of the package tourism that affects its neighbours, offering a slice of the authentic Caribbean that is difficult to find elsewhere.
The world's first black republic offers a tantalising opportunity to delve into a world inhabited by vodou (voodoo) spirits and experience the cultural capital of the region, replete with magnificent forts, citadels and charming colonial style architecture, as well as stunning landscapes and welcoming people.
Haiti doesn't even feature on the radar of most, which is why we're so excited about offering a truly unique journey to this charming nation.
