From: £1360.00

Travel to North Korea on this short tour to experience an alternative Mothers Day celebration. Whilst not a national holiday this  is still an important date in the family calendar with a concert expected to take place in the Moranbong Theatre. Enjoy dinner in a local restaurant where there is likely to be an abundance of families dining out to mark this important occasion.

Time will also be spent exploring the capital Pyongyang. Enjoy a tipple or two in the Taedonggang Microbrewery offering the chance to get to know your friendly local guides and stroll to Mansudae Fountain Park to ascend to the Mansudae Grand Monument to see the 20-metre tall bronze statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. And no trip to North Korea is complete without a visit to the DMZ and border with South Korea to discover the Armistace Talks Hall.
