Stay in the smallest and most northernmost capital in the world on this short break to Nuuk. Flights are from Reykjavik, Iceland and accommodation is based on the Hotel Hans Egede. Greenland's capital has good restaurants, lots of shopping possibilities and one of our favourite Greenland museums - The National Museum. This museum is located in the historic harbour and tells the history of Greenland really well from the Inuit to the settlers. One of the most fascinating exhibitions is the remarkable mummies from Qilakitsoq - these preserved bodies were found in a remote cave near Uummannaq in North Greenland in 1971 and date from 1475.
