From powerful geysers and crashing waterfalls to soaring puffins and mesmerising Arctic foxes, you are never far away from an unforgettable moment when you head to the spellbinding Fjords of Norway. Here captivating days at sea spent sailing serenely through glimmering fjords, past remote towns, are perfectly complemented with€tive days spent exploring ashore. Without doubt, a cruise is the best way to experience the other-worldly setting of Norways coast and fjords, which are a delight from spring to autumn. Receding snows are replaced by apple blossom, giving way to lush green hills and deep blue waters beneath the towering peaks. Since the inception of our Cruise Walk programme, Norway has consistently proven our most popular destination. SHORE WALKS AND EXCURSION HIGHLIGHTS: Bergen - We walk past the old merchants houses and ascend Mount Floyen by funicular railway. Here paths stretch into a world of woods, lakes and mountains. Flm - We take the Flm railway to the mountainous settlement of Myrdal, and then walk down to Berekvam past countless waterfalls with rugged peaks all around. Olden - Our walk takes us towards either the Brennsdal or Briksdal Glaciers, tongues of Europes largest glacier, the Jostedal Glacier. Eidfjord - From this tiny village at the end of the world-famous Hardangerfjord we walk past a Viking cemetery to the local lake and take in the sights of this charming location. Stavanger - On Norways southern coast, we explore the town and walk amidst low-lying hills, exploring the suburb of Eiganes and lakes Stockavatnet and Mosvatnet. Skjolden - Here we are about as far east as you can sail in the fjords. Our walk passes through woods and farmland high above Lustrafjord with breath taking views. lesund - We take an easy, gentle walk on well-maintained paths around and along the top of the Nvoya Peninsula to a high caf/viewpoint. Geiranger - The journey here is amazing, as we twist our way past waterfalls and steep slopes. From one of Norways most famous villages we walk to amazing viewpoints. Hellesylt - We take a stroll through the pretty town below the Karb waterfall, walk beside the Storfjord river and explore a second waterfall where there are fine views up the valley.
