A vibrant street life, traditional tapas bars, city squares and an attractive beach area where you can mingle with locals and soak up the atmosphere of this Mediterranean city. During our stay, we include a four hour private guided walk of the Barri Gotic with an English speaking local guide as well as a two hour private guided walk of the architecture of Gaudi with an English speaking local architect. We also have a trip out to Montserrats famous Benedictine Monastery. The monastery is Catalonias most important religious retreat. At over 1200 metres above the valley floor, it is the highest point of the Catalan lowlands and ideally placed to play an important role in the cultural and spiritual life of Catalonia.
