This holiday is the perfect introduction to Sierra Leone. Begin your individual tour in Freetown, where you can explore the bustling capital and the deserted peninsula beaches. You then travel to Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary where your stay in an eco-lodge helps to support the conservation and education work of the sanctuary. Around this area you also have the chance to seek interesting birdlife of the Upper Guinea rainforest region. Complete your holiday based on the southern tip of the peninsula, where you stay at Franco's Guesthouse. Take a day trip to Banana Island for a delcious seafood lunch and to see the relics of the island's past role as a slaving station. We work with local organisations on our Sierra Leone holidays and your visit helps to support local communities and conservation projects.
