Day 1 Depart from London Heathrow on an overnight flight to Kilimanjaro via Nairobi
Day 2 On arrival into Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met and transferred to Arumeru River Lodge for a one night stay with breakfast included. This will give you a good nights rest and opportunity to prepare for the start of your safari.
Day 3 This morning you will be met by your safari guide and the 4x4 vehicle, given a safari briefing and depart by road to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch for game drive. Day ends at Maisha Kikoti Camp for a two night stay with all meals local drinks, safari activities and park fees included (An optional night drive is available at a small additional charge)
Day 4 Day is filled dependent on what the group wishes to do, you might elect to do a morning and an afternoon game drive or you will enjoy a full day drive with picnic lunches.
Day 5 This morning enjoy a final gamed drive through the park before continuing on to the Ngorongoro highlands. Enjoy a visit to the local village of Mto wa Mbu where you enjoy a lunch in a local homestay. Continue on to a local Maasai village for a visit and the day ends at Endoro Lodge for a one night stay with all meals local drinks, safari activities and park fees included.
Day 6 Early decent into the crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch. Ascend to the rim and a scenic drive around the crater rim before continuing to the Olduvai Gorge. After visiting the gorge and learning about this most important prehistoric archaeological sites on Earth, you head on to the vast plains of the world famous Serengeti National Park and perhaps the highlight of the tour. Day ends at the small mobile Mbugani Central Tented Camp for a two night stay with all meals local drinks, safari activities and park fees included. With no electricity and just oil lamps, you are transported back in time to your own 'Out of Africa' experience with the game all around you.
Day 7 Today is filled with game activities in this wonderfully abundant park before returning to camp for dinner under the stars and drinks around a roaring camp fire (An optional Balloon Safari is available at an additional charge)
Day 8 Early morning game drive en-route to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight back to Arusha. Either continue on to Zanzibar for a beach stay or, after a lunch stop, continue on to Kilimanjaro Airport for your late afternoon flight back to Nairobi, connecting on to the late evening overnight flight to the UK.
