An exceptional luxury, camping and lodge-based mobile safari, visiting superb locations, with outstanding wildlife viewing. Explore the beautiful and pristine Okavango Delta, Khwai, the game-rich Linyanti, Chobe River and the magnificent Victoria Falls, Zambia. The safari is guided and hosted throughout by professional trained guides, with in depth local knowledge, ensuring maximum game viewing.

This "Discoverer" mobile combines luxury lodge accommodation with elegant, old style turn-of-the-century safari exploration. When camping, the spacious walk-in permanent 6.3 x 3.5 metre Meru tents have comfortable beds with cotton linen sheets, and en-suite bathrooms with bucket showers, mirrors, basin and flushing toilet. The guest area includes a large dining tent with camp chairs, table and bar, and basic library. The Discoverer camps are lit by hurricane lamps and meals prepared around the camp fire.


Day 1 Depart from London Heathrow on direct overnight flight to Johannesburg.

Day 2 On arrival early morning, take onward scheduled flight to Livingstone in Zambia. On arrival you will be met and transferred by road directly to the Victoria Falls for a guided tour from the Zambian side. You will then be transferred to Toka Leya which is on the banks of the Zambezi River for a 1 night stay with all meals included

Day 3 Road transfer back to Livingstone Airport for light aircraft flight to Kasane Airport in Botswana, flying over where four countries meet, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia. You will be transferred to the Chobe River for a boat cruise to enjoy the large herds of elephants and predators this area is known for. Return to the airport for light aircraft to the private 125 000-hectare Linyanti concession bordering Chobe National Park for a 3 night stay for your stay at Linyanti Discoverer Camp with all meals and scheduled safari activities included. Explore the Linyanti area in open safari vehicles generally early morning and late afternoon enjoying floodplains to open dry-land savannah and woodlands. This area has a number of predators including the endangered wild dog and rare sightings such as Sitatunga, roan and sable antelope.

Day 6 Depart by light aircraft to the Khwai Concession in the Moremi Game Reserve, the eastern side of the Okavango Delta for a 3 night stay at the semi-permanent Khwai Discoverer Camp with all meals and scheduled safari activities included. On this private concession you will enjoy morning and evening shared guided game drives, guided nature walks and seasonal canoe excursion. As the lodge is on a permanent water source, this area attracts all the predators, diverse bird life and various antelope including red lechwe and roan.

Day 8

Day 9 Light aircraft flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta for a 3 night stay at either the permanent Xigera Camp or Jacana Camp, with all meals and scheduled safari activities included. In the Okavango Delta you explore the waterways and surrounding islands by motorboat, mekoro which is a traditional dug out canoe and seasonal game drives. Some of the large cats inhabit the islands, elephants wade through the clear waters of the channels, hippos gather in pods and finally the extraordinary birdlife the Okavango Delta is famed for.

Day 12 Travel to Maun Airport by light aircraft to connect with scheduled afternoon flight to Johannesburg to make the early evening direct overnight flight to London.
