A trio of Brazilian destinations, this 12 day trip brings together an awe-inspiring natural wonder, a sampling of city life and chic beach life. On touching down in Rio de Janeiro you will be instantly submerged into the infectious Latin American spirit with a warm welcome to the famous Copacabana Palace for a three night city stay. A visit to Rio de Janeiro would not be complete without visiting Christ the Redeemer, looking down across the buildings, forest covered foothills and gorgeous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches from atop Corcovado Mountain.
From here jet off to the Iguazu to witness the magnificent size and beauty of the Iguazu Falls, a collection of 275 waterfalls spanning 2,700 metres across the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. After staying at the Hotel Das Cataratas, the one and only resort within the Iguassu National Park, head to the Emerald Coast for five nights of relaxation, an essential destination for any beach lover. You will stay at the Ponta dos Ganchos located on a private peninsula between two charming fishing villages, a perfect location for sun-filled indulgence and exploration of yout stunning surroundings. However you spend your time at Ponta dos Ganchos it will be in the Brazilian footwear staple Havaianas, supplied by the hotel for all guests.

Day 1 Depart the UK for the overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro.
Day 2 On arrival, you are met and taken to the Copacabana Palace. Possibly the most famous hotel in Brazil, the hotel is a landmark of Rio and historically frequented by many famous guests since the opening in 1923. Enjoy your elegant deluxe room with the unforgettable view of Copacabana Beach.
Day 3 Spend your first day ascending to dizzying heights, climbing the Corcovado Mountain and walking the steps up to the base of Christ the Redeemer before crossing the city to take in the panoramic views atop of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Today includes a private driver/guide with a delicious BBQ lunch.
Day 4 Start with a leisurely breakfast before spending your day exploring this vibrant city with a historic walking tour and a visit to Cidade do Samba, Rio’s carnival costume and float manufactures, available to organise through the hotel.
Day 5 Take a morning flight to Iguazu, checking into Hotel Das Cataratas. As the only hotel in the Iguazu National Park you will have exclusive access to the falls when closed to other visitors. Only a few metres away from the magnificent waterfalls, this classic accommodation is completely unique.
Day 6 Having explored the Brazilian side of the falls the previous day, today you will take a privately guided tour to the Argentine side. Witness the falls against the exotic backdrop of the sub-tropical forest Parque Nacional Iguazu, exploring the easily accessible trails taking you above and below the powerful waters. For those with an adventurous side they can brave a speedboat trip to the ‘Devil’s Throat’, the largest of the 275 waterfalls.
Day 7 Today you will fly to Florianopolis, where upon arrival you will travel by road to the Emerald Coast and check into the Ponta dos Ganchos. An exclusive beach resort located on a private peninsula, settle into your five-star room and enjoy the emerald sea views which stretch out from your private wood deck from the comfort of your swinging hammock.
Day 8 Spend your days here however you wish; hiking to the beach, wandering the nature trails, taking an open boat to the oyster farm and eating Brazilian bivalves fresh from the sea or, if your lucky enough to be visiting between June and November, keep your eyes out for whales migrating away from the Antarctic winter. If you happen to get caught in an unfortunate downpour, Ponta dos Ganchos has plenty to keep you entertained including a cinema equipped with 300 films, an indoor swimming pool and a luxury spa.
Day 12 A private morning transfer after breakfast to Florianopolis airport for your return flight to the UK.
