Take an African overland tour to the iconic Victoria falls, one of Africa’s great natural wonders.
The tour takes you on an adventure through the Serengeti, where you can get close to the incredible wildlife that lives there (Lions, giraffes, elephants, the list goes on…) Then we’ll visit the awe inspiring Ngorongoro Crater National park – home to the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera.
For those of you who dream of sea, sun, and sand, it doesn’t get much better than chilling out on the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar and Lake Malawi.
Once we reach Victoria Falls, why not try rafting the mighty Zambezi River or a Gorge Swing over it? Day 1 Nairobi - Get up close and personal to some of nature’s graceful giants when we visit a Giraffe Centre. There is also the option to visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.
Days 2 to 9 Tanzania
Depart Nairobi and cross the Athi Plains
Arusha - our base for the next few days.
Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater Reserve - take an optional jeep safari into the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti to spot lion, cheetah leopard, zebra, elephant, hippos, wildebeest, giraffe, and gazelle.
Maasai Village walk - an option back at our campsite in Arusha.
Marangu - Foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro - you have the opportunity to hike up to Base camp, or walk through the pleasant surroundings visiting waterfalls and rivers in the area.
Dar Es Salaam
Days 10 to 13 Zanzibar Island - The original and mystical ’spice’ island. Take a tour of Stone Town, learn about the various spices, then venture to the north of the island for a few days. Swim with dolphins, sunbathe on amazing white sandy beaches, indulge in various water sports including snorkelling and scuba diving.
Days 14 to 16 Mikumi National Park - spot from the roadside, giraffe, zebra, elephant and buffalo.
Malawi - the warm heart of Africa.
Days 17 to 22 Lake Malawi - stop at several campsites where you can swim & chill on the lake. Learn to horse ride, scuba dive or try your hand at windsurfing amongst other water sports. Wander the local crafts markets and village before indulging in a spit roast dinner if we are lucky!

Days 23 to 28 Zimbabwe
Eastern Highlands - Chimanimani National Park - an opportunity to hike through this vast mountain wilderness area bordering Mozambique or visit bridal veil falls, enjoy the surrounding scenery from this sleepy village.
A privately run game ranch, where you can go game viewing on horse back makes for a very different experience!
Great Zimbabwe Ruins - a Shona village, from where the name ’Zimbabwe’ is derived.
Days 29 to 34 Bulawayo - the second largest city in the country.
Matobo National Park - an optional safari with a difference! Allowing you to game walk to get up close and see the elusive Black Rhino.
