Explore these remote, volcanic islands by yacht and encounter some of their unique wildlife such as Darwins famous Finches, Marine Iguana, Blue-footed Booby and Giant Tortoise Day 1 Baltra – Mosquera

Baltra Island: Arrival at Baltra Airport, where you will be met by our English speaking guide

 Transfer to the yacht. Welcome and briefing.

 Lunch

 Mosquera Island - snorkelling, strolling on the beach - Sea Lions and many Shorebirds.

 Briefing and dinner on board.

Day 2 Isabela Island – Fernandina Island

Breakfast

Travel by ’panga’ (Galapagos amphibious craft) to Vicente Roca Point - spectacular sea life - Seahorses, Sea Turtles, Rays, Puffer Fish, and the strange yet fascinating Mola-mola (or Sunfish)  Penguins, Blue-Footed Boobies and Nazca Boobies.

 Lunch on board

Espinoza Point (Fernandina Island): walking tour to see Lava Flows, Marine Iguanas (nesting time: January to June), Penguins, Pelicans and colonies of Cormorants and Lava Cactus. Snorkelling.

Briefing and dinner on board.

Day 3 Isabela Island

Breakfast

 Urbina Bay - Walking tour. Calcareous organisms (shells, corals) exposed above water.  Land Iguanas, Darwin’s Finches, Giant Tortoises (between June – September) and Flightless Cormorants. Snorkelling

Lunch

Tagus Cove

Darwin Lake - historical graffiti, Penguins, Flightless Cormorants, Boobies, Pelicans and Sally Lightfoot Crabs. Snorkelling

Day 4 Santiago Island

 Breakfast

James Bay

 Puerto Egas - Darwin Finches, the endemic Galapagos Hawks, Marine Iguanas, Sally Light Foot Crabs, Fur Seals and Sea Lions. Swimming and snorkelling

Lunch

Sombrero Chino - lava tunnels, lava cactus, GalÁpagos Sesuvium. Swimming and and snorkelling.  

Dinner and briefing

Day 5 Santa Cruz Island -Baltra

Breakfast

 Charles Darwin Research Station and€tive breeding centre

Lunch

Hacienda Primicias - see Giant Tortoises in their natural habitat, Highland birds, like Cattle Egrets, Mockingbirds, Finches or Flycatchers

 Dinner and briefing

Day 6 Isabela Island

 Breakfast

 Las Tintoreras islands - sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, rays, etc. The bay is connected to a crevice of crystal clear water crevice- reef Sharks swim  and Sea Lions.

Lunch on board

Breeding Center Arnaldo Tupiza - tortoises

Los Humedales - sandy beaches, rocky shores, and mangroves. Migratory birds: Whimbrel, Short-Billed Dowitcher, Wilson’s Phalarope, Common Tern, Blue-Winged Teal, Osprey, Black-Bellied and Semipalmated Plovers, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs to name a few

Day 7 Floreana Island - Santa Cruz Island

Breakfast

Rabida - maroon sandy beach. Birdwatcher’s delight - nine varieties of Finch, Large-billed Flycatchers, Galapagos Hawks and Brown Pelicans

Lunch

Cerro Dragon -hypersalinic (saltier than the ocean) lagoon - Flamingos, Common Stilts, Pintail Ducks, land Iguanas.

Dinner and briefing

Day 8 Baltra

Breakfast

Black Turtle Bay - sea lions, Black (Pacific Green) Turtles and many different types of birds

Baltra Airport by bus for your return flight to Guayaquil/Quito.
