A visit to the Sahara is for many people one of the highlights of Morocco; the distances from Marrakesh are quite large, but fortunately the route, along the stunning southern oasis valleys, is just as big a highlight. A circuit out to the desert and back through the palm groves and oasis with their crumbling kasbahs can then be followed with a few days in Marrakesh, to give an itinerary full of incredible memories and countless spectacular photo opportunities!
