Day 1 Nairobi
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Nairobi/Eldoret (1B)
Soak up the scenery as we drive€ross Kenya’s Rift Valley.
Day 3 Eldoret/Kampala (1B, 1D)
Cross the border into Uganda, then camp outside of the country’s capital.
Day 4 Kampala/Kalinzu Forest Reserve (1B, 1L, 1D)
Watch the Ugandan countryside pass by on the day’s journey.
Day 5 Kalinzu Forest Reserve/Lake Bunyonyi (1B, 1L, 1D)
Get up early for an included chimpanzee tracking excursion, then visit a tea plantation before setting off for Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 6 Gorilla Trek (1B, 1L, 1D)
Enjoy a guided mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Day 7 Lake Bunyonyi (1B, 1L, 1D)
Enjoy free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Lake Bunyonyi.
Day 8 Lake Bunyonyi/Kampala (1B, 1L, 1D)
Return to Kampala with a stop at the Equator for lunch at the G Adventures supported AidChild Equation Cafe & Gallery.
Day 9 Kampala/Jinja (1B, 1L, 1D)
Explore Jinja, known for its outdoor and adventure€tivities.
Day 10 Jinja
Spend another day exploring Jinja. Opt to raft down the White Nile River, mountain bike up and down the hills or check out the local market.
Day 11 Jinja/Eldoret (1B)
Cross over into Kenya for a night in Eldoret.
Day 12 Eldoret/Nairobi (1B)
Sit back and enjoy the ride on a transfer through the Kenyan countryside to Nairobi.
Day 13 Nairobi/Arusha (1B, 1D)
Travel south and cross the border into Tanzania.
Day 14 Arusha/Mto wa Mbu (1B, 1D)
Visit a Maasai village to learn about the Maasai people and the G Adventures-supported Clean Cookstove project. Meet the local women engineers who have installed clean cookstoves throughout these communities. In the afternoon, opt to visit the Mto wa Mbu village to enjoy a local lunch and cultural experience with the town’s villagers.
Day 15 Mto wa Mbu/Serengeti National Park (1B, 1L, 1D)
Enjoy a wildlife safari drive en route to the central Serengeti. Spend the night at a basic bush camp and enjoy the starry African skies.
Day 16 Serengeti National Park (1B, 1L, 1D)
Enjoy a full-day wildlife safari drive in the safari vehicle. Opt for a morning hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti.
Day 17 Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater (1B, 1L, 1D)
Set off on a wildlife safari drive on the way out of the Serengeti. Camp on the Ngorongoro Crater’s rim.
Day 18 Ngorongoro Crater/Arusha (1B, 1L, 1D)
Wildlife safari drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, then return to Arusha.
Day 19 Arusha/Stone Town (1B)
Fly to the beautiful island of Zanzibar and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy an orientation walk with your CEO in historic Stone Town, and opt to continue on for a longer walking tour, or explore on your own.
Day 20 Stone Town/Nungwi (1B)
Transfer to the white-sand beaches and turquoise waters of beautiful Nungwi Beach.
Day 21 Nungwi (1B)
Enjoy free time to lounge on the beach, snorkel, or tour the island.
Day 22 Nungwi/Stone Town (1B)
Morning group transfer from Nungwi. Depart Stone Town upon arrival in the late morning.
