Madaba & Petra
From Amman we travel to Ajlun Castle one of the most impressive surviving Roman cities, followed by a visit to Jerash Greco Roman ruins. Then on to the Roman Byzantine town of Madaba, best known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics and then onto the Crusader Castle in Kerak. Driving to Petra along the Desert Highway, we spend two full days visiting the 'forgotten city', one of the most famous archaeological highlights in the Middle East. Experience the site with a guided walking excursion of the area allowing time in this ancient attraction under the night sky and lit by a thousand candles.
The Dead Sea & Jerash
We journey from Petra to Wadi Rum visitor centre from where we have the option of a camel or jeep safari to explore the desert. We continue to the Red Sea with time to relax in this coastal town and snorkel in the Red sea. On our return trip to Amman we stop for a few hours at the Dead Sea with time to discover this unique landscape and enjoy a float in its saline waters, not to mention the option of a few pampering treatments at the spa!
Traditional Local Accommodation
