Kibbutz & the Coast
From Tel Aviv we drive along the Mediterranean coast via Old Jaffa to Caesaria, built by Herod the Great and later an important crusader outpost. Continuing on we visit the old underground city of Akko. Following a visit to Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes we enjoy a boat ride on the emerald waters of the Sea of Galilee. Then drive to Tiberias for our overnight stay on a Kibbutz- participating in the communal atmosphere of this Israeli way of life.

Dead Sea & Massada
Driving via Jericho we arrive at Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Here we enjoy a swim or a therapeutic mud-bath in the briny waters of the Dead Sea (the world's lowest inhabited spot at 394m below Sae level). We continue on to Eid Gedi for our night stop. Early the next day we set off to explore the near-impregnable Sky Fortress of Massada. From the top you can still see the remains of Roman camps and siege-ramps below. Continuing to Kfar Hanokdim we enjoy some Bedouin hospitality and have the chance to take a camel ride.

Old Jerusalem
Driving via the Mount of Olives for panoramic view of the Old City, we arrive in one of the world's most fascinating cities, Jerusalem. Our stay here includes a walk through the narrow streets of the Old City; and visits to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Via Dolorosa and Wailing Wall. Lastly we drive to Bethlehem to visit the church of the Nativity. You can also discover other places of interest at your own pace. Many are within easy reach including the new part of Jerusalem and the Israel museum.
