Run by: Discover The World
Reference number: ICELAND-SUPJEE3NT
On this year round trip experience the wilder side of Iceland and travel where conventional vehicles simply cannot go year round. In winter, studded tyres give good traction on ice, while reduced air pressure in the tyres allows the vehicles to glide over deep snow, rather than sink into it. In the summer, the enormous tyres cope with the uneven terrain without a hitch and with the high clearance you’ll be surprised at what the vehicles can tackle!
Spend two full days exploring wild and out of the way places in these incredible vehicles and discover the remarkable and dramatic landscape that makes Iceland so unique - the famed Golden Circle route; Skogafoss with its magnificent 62m high curtain of water; and the dramatic coastline with its black sand beaches and natural rock arch at Dyrholaey. At the end of each day return to Reykjavik, Iceland’s lively capital.
Each superjeep seats 2-7 people and several vehicles often travel in convoy. The exact route taken each day will depend on the weather but wherever you go in the hands of these expert drivers, you can be sure of a thoroughly exciting, enjoyable and safe time.
