Located in the village of Jukkasjarvi, 200km inside the Arctic Circle, the iconic Ice Hotel is situated along the banks of the frozen Torne river, from which the mammoth blocks of ice used for its construction are cut. The Torne river ice is renowned for its clarity and purity, attracting artists every year eager to carve and design the new hotel, embellishing 80 ice rooms with stunning sculptures and designs. This 3-day itinerary includes a 2-night stay at the Ice Hotel, with one night sleeping in an ice room, the opportunity to experience the indigenous Sami culture of the area, husky sledging and a magical evening snowmobile safari in search of the northern lights.
