From: £1035.0000

The city of Split, the second largest city in

Croatia and home to the ruins of Emperor

Diocletian’s 4th-century palace, is an ideal

starting point from which to visit the many

beautiful islands of Croatia. Layered in

history, they vary in size and terrain from

tiny, unpopulated and lush green to large, arid

and dotted with ancient towns. Visit Brac and

Croatia’s most famous beach, the Zlatni Rat,

near the beautiful town of Bol, Hvar with its

pine forests, olive groves, vineyards and lavender

fields, and Korcula, settled by the Trojan hero

Antenor in the 12th century BC and birthplace

of Marco Polo. Finally, finish in beautiful

Dubrovnik, with its high city walls, cobbled

streets and plentiful restaurants and cafes.
