Travelling the 4,352km (2,698 miles) between Perth and Sydney, a
journey on Indian Pacific is one of the world’s great rail adventures.
Departing Perth, the train climbs through the scenic Avon valley
and into Western Australia’s expansive wheat belt, before arriving
into the city of Kalgoorlie. Continue through the vast treeless plain
of the Nullarbor desert, along the world’s longest straight stretch of
railway track, then on to Adelaide and Sydney.
