On arrival you’ll be met by a member of the A&K team and taken to an Andean Village where you’ll meet the locals, learn about their way of life and take part in a blessing. On day three, continue your ascent in The Sacred Valley where you’ll be rewarded with the chance to zipline over the ravines. Take a train to Machu Picchu and spend the day exploring the ‘lost’ city before enjoying afternoon tea at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. Early risers will be rewarded with sunrise views of Machu Picchu before preparing for a day’s hiking, with two routes to choose from. At the end of the day, head back to Cusco by train to prepare for two nights in fabulous€commodation. There’s much more to Cusco than Machu Picchu and you’ll now have two full days to discover its historical town centre, beautiful buildings and exciting heritage. You’ll also have the opportunity to make the perfect Pisco Sour with our mixologist. Your trip ends in Peru’s capital, Lima, where you’ll have plenty of opportunity to explore independently either on foot or by bike. There are lots of museums to visit as well as alternative ways to explore the city. Surf Lima’s coastline, paraglide over the city or visit the catacombs. It’s worth booking restaurants well ahead of your arrival to ensure availability - with some world-renowned establishments to choose from, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
