You're invited to our Taste of Jamaica event in Birmingham. Join us to taste Jamaican food, sample rum cocktails, enjoy live music performances, and hear directly from the experts about how to get off the beaten track to discover a more authentic side to this Caribbean country.
Jamaica is one of the best warm weather destinations to visit if you want to experience true Caribbean hospitality, an exciting culture and a world-renowned cuisine.
On Thursday 4th August 2022 from 6-8 pm, the Glee Club Birmingham will offer visitors just that.
You are invited to come and experience a ‘taste of Jamaica’ by way of the authentic Jamaican jerk and popular local dishes, Blue Mountain coffee and famous rum punch and rum-based cocktails.
Insights into the culture will be provided by the rhythmic reggae music interspersed with engaging speakers who will not only offer independent travel advice but give insight into some of the hidden, off the beaten path gems.
Be sure to arrive on an empty stomach so you can make the most of all of the delicious food and drink that will be on offer!
During the event, our experts will be on hand to provide you with all the information and inspiration you need to start planning your dream visit to Jamaica. We will be hearing from Torrance Lewis from the Jamaica Tourist Board, Kyle Mais and Olivia Morrow from the Jamaica Inn Hotel, and Josef Forstmayer from Round Hill Hotel and Villas.
