OPIHR takes you on a trip along the Ancient Spice Route to discover the places and botanicals that make up the UK’s number one spiced gin.
The Ancient Spice Route, also known as the Maritime Silk Road, is the name given to the network of sea routes that link the East with the West. They stretch from the west coast of Japan, through the islands of Indonesia, around India to the lands of the Middle East and from there, across the Mediterranean to Europe.
OPIHR Gin is inspired by the adventurous merchants who traversed the Ancient Spice Route in times gone by and is infused with exotic hand-picked botanicals, spices and herbs from along the Spice Route, including spicy cubeb berries from Malaysia, cardamom from India and coriander from Morocco.
This series will take you on a trip along the route from East to West, uncovering what makes these destinations so special…
