Robin McKelvie is an award winning travel writer and broadcaster, who 'lives and breathes travel'. A native Scot, Robin has spent the last two decades travelling around over 100 countries on foot, two wheels, on some of the world's most famous railways journeys and, 'reluctantly, also by bus and plane'.
His articles and photographs have appeared in hundreds of magazines and newspapers across five continents including The Times, Telegraph, Guardian, Scotsman, Wanderlust, The Australian and The Straits Times. Robin is also the author of over 30 travel books for the likes of Bradt, Dorling Kindersley and Berlitz.
He talks travel regularly for various BBC radio stations and has also appeared on BBC TV and on commercial TV. Robin also blogs/writes online articles for various websites and is heavily engaged with social media.
