Henry Wismayer

Henry Wismayer began writing about travel in 2008, when his hopelessly wordy account of a weekend jaunt up a mountain in Morocco landed on the front page of an in-flight magazine. Since then, his articles have appeared in over 50 publications worldwide including the New York Times, Guardian and TIME Magazine. He specializes in adventure travel in Africa and the Middle East, with occasional forays into more luxurious climes to mollify his beleaguered girlfriend Lucy (compensation for all the the years of bush-taxies and nights sleeping on benches). Between assignments, he lives in London with Lucy and daughter Lily.
