Carol Donaldson

Carol has worked in wildlife conservation for 15 years and has been lucky enough to mix her love of the wildlife with her love of travelling and writing. She has cycled across the Sahara, taught Inuit children in the Arctic and wrestled a pack of wolves in Russia (they won). She has written for BBC Wildlife Magazine, The Telegraph and Wanderlust and was BBC Wildlife Magazine’s Travel Writer of the Year in 2011.  She also runs Little Owl Tours whose mission is to open people’s eyes to the beauty of the British countryside and its wildlife.

Having hid out in a caravan on the marshes for many years she is currently writing a book about others who live unconventional lives.
